Hello Heather
I live in the Chelmsford area of Essex and i am having problems finding anywhere that will teach along the classical lines.
I am a graduate in Equine Studies but focused on the academic rather than practical therefore i have not had riding lessons for a few years. I am waiting to purchase my first horse having shared and loaned in the past however i want my riding up to scratch first. It seems that the only way to get decent tuition is to have your own horse and pay a freelance to come and teach or take your horse to them. I feel that to be able to get your own horse to perform as a rider you need to know how to do it yourself which is what i need!
I don't like to be shouted out which is what many teachers seem to enjoy! All i want is a sympathtic instructor who will teach me the basics again and improve my confidence and skills. I have ridden for 13 years on and off but feel i am not getting anywhere.
Can you suggest what i should do?
Ideally i would like lessons with you!!
