What is an example of a simple grid? Foxy drifts while jumping, so I want something to make him go straight.

Your simplest grid would be a series of one stride cross-poles... the cross-pole would help keep the horse straight.
How many in the grid would depend on what length of "run" you have...
There are other things you can do with drifting, e.g. put two slanting bars in a "v" in front of a single jump to direct them (one end on the ground and wide, the other on the jump and narrow) - but I would want to have someone on the ground as well for safety reasons.
