This has been approved by my farrier and reps of a hoof Moist company asked me to keep quiet about it as it works better than thier product they admitted it.
Wet the hoof thoroughly and while wet cover in a thick layer of petroleum Jelly, leave to wear off itself normally 2 or 3 days and hey presto lovely rehydrated feet.
You can use it twice a week as necessary but normally after 2 or 3 times you rarely need to (depends on the horse)
This is a quick easy solution for feet that dry out in the prolonged dry hot weather, do not use it in the wet winter weather.
