Dakota is doing well. She won't let me put on her halter. But Dakota is leting me pet her and brush her with out tring to kick me. I'm tring to get the halter on so I can get some one to trim her feet. I's not looking good. I amost had her once but a soon as she see the halter she is gone. Food isn't working. I will have to keep tring. We are starting to bond and she seems that she starting to be near me.
I went riding on a horse name Sue. We went in the big round pen and things were good. I even tried to trott. It went like a dream. So my neice wanted to go to the field. That's when things went wrong. I walked my horse and I tried to trott and it went well. Then I went around the bail hay and then I desided to trott and well Sue trotted couple steps and started to gallop. Well I tried pulling the reins back and didn't work then I pulled my left hand to make the horse going in circle and she started to trott again so I thought she would listen to me again. WRONG. Sue desided to gallop again. I panic and start to scream. Yes I know you should never scream but it's my bad habbit. I'm working on it. Any way I findly got her to stop and went back to the big round pen and walked her and trotted Sue. It was back to normal and the horse was back listen to me. So I will be in the big round pen for know on. Just when I get my confendens and this happen.
I know now why people don't wear sandles near horses. First time a colt steped on my toe. Then a horse steped on my foot and it was sore. It's been a week and it's a little sore. So thats all new in my world.
