Aw, you must be dying to get jumping again Merlinz gal! I don't usually critique other people because I'm not that great myself! But you did mention in another thread aswell how you'd like some tips so...
In the 2nd pic, your leg has slipped back and your leaning onto your hands, try keeping your leg underneath you (I'm one to talk) and keeping more contact over the fence.
The 3rd shot is hard to tell from the angle but you look a little left behind, your reins are either loose or long in all those shots so you need to concentrate on that. You only need to give the rein to allow them to get over the fence, mid-air you should already be ready to check him on landing.
Looks like he enjoys it, bet he bored out of his mind just doing flatwork, poor guy.

Are you allowed work over poles with him? Put out trot poles so the striding is really big, think really extended trot, about 5. Over the middle pole take up 2 point position and reach for the same contact you would over a jump. With him being forced to take long strides you'll be off balance so it'll help you practice mantaining your contact over a fence.
When Mocha got splints I couldn't jump her for ages and I stil have to be careful so I know how you feel.I also had the same problem with maintaining contact over the jump but I had to fix it really quickly because if I didn't Mocha took off when she landed!

lol ive experimented with contact over jumps but if i have one any harder than that he rushes his fences something cronic but that contact works really nicelly in.
trot poles we can do:D only 1 - 2 months till canter:D

cool, go you two,
all i can say is in the second picture is looks like you might have given him the reins before take off, as you haven't got any contact. i used to do this a lot. but you can probably see his jump looks unballenced and he isn't being very careful, to help him sit up and keep the contact, wait for the jump to come to you rather than leaning forward to soon. if you lean forward and give him the reins he will loose his ballence go onto his forhand and is likely to knock it of make an unconfortable jump. so sit up, put your shoulders back and get him between your leg and hand, with a nice boncy canter and he will make a much nice shape. but looking cool!
edit - im not slagging off merlin if that was ment for me! i just ment in picture 2 he looks unballenced, not that he is naturally, he just been through a lot. im sure he has an amzing jump in there!

The first is too blurry to tell, but in the latter pictures, it looks as though you are carrying a lot of the weight in your knees. If you relax them enough to allow the weight to sink down your calves and into your heels, it will be easier to keep your bum back and your leg under you to help with balance.
