please talk to me i feel very sad lol nobody has repllied to any of my threads!!! any body got any advice as to what long black boots to buy i want ones without dressage tops so that i can wear garter starps

:) Hello there, sorry nobody replied! I don't know much about long boots (I'd love some) I like the Mountain horse long ones. There are lots in the Rideaway book - or their website is www.rideaway.co.uk. Don't understand about garter straps either! (sorry not helping much am I????! :) )

It helps if you give your threads a clear title - lots of members don't have time to read every single thread so just choose ones they think they can reply to or would be interested in.

So your thread 'melissajoys' might have got a better response if you'd titled it 'Showing Connemaras' for example. This one would probably get the kind of replies you need had you called it 'advice on which boots'... Just a thought. :)

It does take time to settle into a new forum - you've only made 5 posts and only started three threads - two of those were today! Give us a chance! :D It is often quieter in here at the weekend anyway, so don't worry about it.

I used to have a really nice pair of Regent boots with garter straps, also had a pair of Aigle boots a while back that were lovely. A lot depends on how much you want to spend, really. Although if I'm honest my Regent boots came off a car boot stall for £35 and I found the Aigle boots in an old barn we rented for a while. Would definitely recommend you look at Regent though. :)

ok thanks lol i guess im just impatent !!! thanks for the advice hmm regent boots sound good do you know how much they are new? i don`t know how much i can spend i guess its up to my mum because they are going to be a 16th b`day prezzie !!can`t wait!! Thankz evri1 4 talkin 2 me ! i am haapy now. this is probabli a stupid question but i cant get the smilies on to my message how do you do it?
