Well, I'm new, so i thouhgt that id post this to say hi. i ride in Oregon, i jump 2-3 feet and i compete in the pre childrens hunters. I just bought a horse for the first time after leasing for a while. I guess i am wondering if anybody can suggest some things that i need to buy. I need to get him the essentials, im boarding him at my barn starting in september and i dont have much for him yet.

Hi :) umm I'm guessing you've already got saddle/bridle, grooming kit. Does your horse need rugs? Haynets, feed bucket, water bucket. When I first got my horse I just bought things as I needed them, not all at once, it can be expensive. Have fun shopping! x
