Right, well basically i'm interested in finding out some more about parelli... :p
So far all i know is that its 'natural horsemanship' based and that theres a linda and a pat parelli! :o :D
So come on guys, explain all! i'm particularly interested in finding out what all the games are about and also, whether its possible to use parelli without paying for all those pack things :p !

You could try looking up www.parelli.com for information.
You can buy cheaper equipment in tack stores, but you really do need the packs as it is a home study program. If you know someone doing it you might be able to borrow theirs???? My level one pack is always on loan to someone ! :p
Looks to me like you and Drm2go should start your own support group if you are both just starting out. :D

I'm sorry, but I have just read that thread and most of what is on it is guff.
Most of the commenters have little or no idea of what they are talking about.
It is the primary problem with Parelli students trying to share forums with traditional horse people. The two just don't gel. They come up with all this inflammatory guf that makes little or no sense and doesn't reflect what the Parelli's teach at all.

Seems to be the standard response from Parelli buffs to any kind of questioning or criticism of the system they use. C'mon chaps, can't you do any better than that?:)

How come it's only ever 'Parelli' folk that get this type of response from you Yann. I've had similar replies from folk that are studying alternative methods of NH, including clicker training. :)
