Horse Care Course

Hello, I am interested in doing a course in horse care just to widen my knowledge has anyone done this? Something very short term or a bit longer but would have to be long distance learning.

I am doing a bhs stage 2 course with Warwickshire college distance learning but they also do basic horse care courses.
You can also do the BHS stage 1 and 2 course at Oatridge College in Uphall/ecclesmachen. Its a Friday , i think this time stage 2 is in the afternoon and stage 1 in the morning.
You can do the course but you dont actually have to sit the exam. Its for 8 weeks i think, i did have the short course programme i think it starts in october.

The horse ownership courses are really good. These are run by local riding centres, agricultural colleges and open learning centres. You can find the syllabuses on the BHS website.
