Yesterday was farrier day so fabulous farrier does our barefoot trims, and informs us that his prices have just gone up too. I don't begrudge one penny mind as he is so good at his work and anyone who ever supported a horses hoof and tried to trim it themselves would agree what hard work it is. Plus he tells us what he is doing and why, brilliant.

Now I have arranged for the dentist to come as it is a year since the last visit, can't believe it, and I am sure Erry has a sharp tooth. We are using someone new who sounds really good.

Next I have a niggle that all is not well with Errys near hind. She is dipping on it as I get on (trying to tell me something there!) and starts off a bit stiff on it but works in and goes fine. So after the dentist we will have the physio to check up on it.

I daren't see the osteo myself untill all this is done. Keep doing my exercises!

Everything always comes at once doesnt it, I had one of those months this month. Where on earth do people get the illusion that horsey people are rich???

I can sympathise. Just had the farrier, dentist is due, wormer due start of October, and I need shavings and the guy who delivers will only deliver a minimum of 10, so that's at least £50!! Worth every penny though - I'm sure you'd all agree!
