Between the Shafts Video, RIP Tommy

Jane MacInnes e-mailed me to tell me that Tommy, the star of the video, has had to be put down due to cushings and chronic laminitis. He survived grass sickness a good few years ago, but was starting to suffer with laminitis and the symptoms of cushings. She has kindly consented and donated him to the RoyalDick veterinary school, who are looking into is grass sickness and cushings.

I saw him a few weeks ago as he was starting with this and was sadened to hear of his death.

He was truly a wonderful school master, he got me through my road driving exam.

So let's raise a glass to absent friends, to whom we owe so much.

I drove Tommy, many years ago..in fact a couple of years befoe they made the video I believe..he was a star I'm very sorry to hear he has gone :( RIP Tommy.

What a shame. I'm another who has that video and I often watch the lovely Tommy trotting down the lanes.
