Probably not the reply that you want but if you're real beginners you're better off getting more experience of riding and stable management before you look to buy a horse of your own. It's a huge commitment apart from being hard work and being solely responsible for half a ton of beast :) Even when you've been around horses for years getting your first horse is a HUGE shock to the system! I know that it knocked my confidence at first and I never thought that it would.

You could always look at a share/loan so that you can see how you get on though most people will need a certain basic level of riding ability before they'll let you loan/share their neds.

Erm, it doesnt actually say that they are beginners to it all, just that they are novices. I am a novice rider and i have just bought my first pony and am learning more now. I think most people who buy there own horse will still be novices. Just wanted to say that just because they are looking for a horse suitable for a novice doesnt mean that they are not ready to get a horse, they may have an awful lot of support around them even if they are a beginner. I know you only have the horses best interest at heart though Bay Mare :)
