Brilliant, well done! :D I bet you cannot wait to get started :p

Stage 1 was classroom based the first week (admin, followed by discussing horse behaviour) but yesterday was much more fun :) We did grooming and tacking up "show and tell", then the instructor went to fetch a couple of horses for us to practice on.

The funniest moment was the instructor demonstrating hoof-picking with George - a big chestnut gelding. She went to pick up the lovely George's front foot, and he turned to look at everyone, and then simply leaned on her (I almost swear he winked at all us students too :p)

I'm really looking forward to getting lots more hands-on practice :)
