Hi - my other half and I are going to Ireland for a week soon (7th Sept), and are staying in Cork city, and Kinsale (Co Cork). We want to go on a hack (or two!) and are wondering if anyone based in Ireland (or who's visited) can recommend anywhere? We want a relatively fast hack (but no jumping anything more than about 1 foot!) on horses which are responsive and obedient. Any recommendations either in County Cork, or somewhere within a couple of hours drive i.e. SW Ireland? A web search has brought up Bantry Horse riding, Rosscarbery Trekking & Riding Centre, Green Glens Horse Village, West Cork Trekking Co Ltd, and Monatrea Equestrian Centre.
