Hello everyone...

This is my first post though I have been lurking and reading for quite a while.

Could anyone reccommend a good riding school near Manchester? I am willing to travel to Bolton/Bury way as well.

I am not a beginner, I owned my own horses from 5-18 years old but had to give up when I moved to England for uni. I'm finding it hard to get a friendly yard with good quality horses for lessons and hacking out. Eventually I plan to part-loan but for now would be happy with a few lessons a week.

Any comments appreciated thanks - I have been looking for places on the internet but as you know first hand recommendations are so useful!

There's Ryders in Kearsley, I believe it's meant to be good, you also have Ashton Old Hall, Carrington, North Cheshire Equestrian centre, Oakhill in Failsworth, Kenyon in Midlleton, The Big Three in Middleton, A Sheperd in Middleton.

If your preapared to travel you could try going out to Warrington or Cheshire way there's some great schools out that way.

Good lcuk in finding a good school :)
