Some piccies from our show yesturday, please ignore my awful position! :o
It was torrential rains my entire round (well the entire day actually) and everything seemed to be slipping including my leg, hands, saddle pad.... my mind!!! (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :p ) However, Shaq looks like he is having a ball as usual, I think getting completly covered in mud AND jumping was his idea of heaven on earth. :p Enjoy!

haha, Shaq always makes sure he gives those fences clearance Cochise, sometimes giving my bum a bit too much clearance from the saddle as well when he gives me a good pop. :D :p
Olympicjumper, he is pretty laid back at home, he is very forward going but completly trustworthy, and he rarely spooks at anything, when we went cross country the first time he barely batted an eye. He is what I call push-button in a sense that he responds immediatly if the button is pushed correctly, not that he packs a rider around, so he has taught me, and is teaching me loads. At shows he is super keen and very technical to ride and unfortunatly gets really upset if I make mistakes (ie. make him hit a rail or have a stop), but when I give him the right ride, he is amazing and can turn on a dime one minute and gallop flat out the next (he is 16.2HH and we always make the pony turns and out gallop any horse :D ) However, when I sit like a lump and give him bad distances, take my leg off etc., he refuses to jump a stick on the ground, frustrating and down-right crushing at times, but it's better to be taught then allowed to get away with it I suppose. I love him to bits, and he is one in a million! :p :o
