Currently trying to convince a friend to do BHS 1 & 2 with me but she's being a wuss about the jumping. Anyone know how big the course is max?

for stage one its just pole work in preparation for jumping and in stage 2 the jumps are 2ft 6 max i think and again the course wont be too taxing

Thats right! 2"6ish
Take it step by step, she should be ok for stage 1 as theres no jumping, just jumping position over poles, then take it from there, see how you both feel about stage 2.

Thanks. 2 foot 6 is fine. She's just being a big wuss as hasn't really ridden any other horses than her own for the past few years, and her own has knocked her confidence quite a bit. Despite once upon a time she used to put 4 1/2 foot jumps up and pile everything and anything up to use as fillers and not worry at all.
Anyway, thank you again!

I did my stage 1 earlier this year and got my stage 2 next month.
Over the last couple of months I have been having jump lessons at the Centre where I will be taking my exam, so I can get used to some of the horses, the facilities and ensure I dont have any bad habits while jumping.
Told Max 2'6" and a course of jumps which should be very straight forward.
