making rope halters!!!

i was thinking of making my own halters and selling some aswell!!! :D BUT it is so hard, i tried to do the knots for the halter and it is hard!!!!!! :mad: it has took a whole day to master the overhand knot, and i havnt even attempted the fraydor (sp?) knot yet as it looks mind boggling!!! has any one got a recomendation of a good book, also where to get the 1/4" rope from?

Good luck! I used to make halters and it's great fun - very therapeutic! :D B&Q sell lovely rope, and you can get offcuts from sailing shops :)

did you tie the fraydor knot (the one for the leadrope to attach) !!!!! if so did it take you a long time to learn how to do it!!!!

Nope - I gave up on the Fiador knot and just tied a normal knot in it lol :)
