1st of all ignore my scowl! LOL.
Il show 2 pics, one without mane/feathers and another with. I know he is a cob... but any ideas what he has in him?

Hes 3 1/2 in this one so it may be difficult?

There's another very similar thread you might like to read in here; ponylover's Bertha.

Basically, most cobs are mongrels. Some cobs are the result of a cross; usually involving ID or draft types, sometimes Fell or Dales if smaller, but most are just the result of breeding type to type.

Coloured cobs rarely have any recognisable breeding; you can usually safely say they have some dreaft in there way back, but in recent generations, it's unlikely to be anything more than more of the same type. They pretty much breed true to type too.

I can't help you with his breed, but I must say your horse is Gorgeous! :D He has beautiful markings!

yea i knew he was a kinda 'outcast' being a cob, if ya get me.. but wonderd if anyone saw anything remote in him. thanks x

hmmm not a clue really :o . I did see a horse SORTA similar not to long ago at my fave place ever Arabian Nights, lol. When I asked the rider said he was a Belgion Paint cross. Both horses are sooooooooooo pretty :rolleyes:
