Hey to anyone who gets this...

Any cross-country people out there? im going to begin my first lesson soon and i would like to know what to enpect and such. Is it funner than show jumping? i think it would because i like to canter and gallop in the open, not in an arena (no offense to showjumpin chics, everyone's different) I have done showjump as high a 3ft. oxer and walk/trot/canter/gallop and dressage and ridden a green pony for 1 year.... I need some excitment now

Cross country is much more difficult in my opinion than show jumping. The jumps are more challenging and sturdy, and the horse must really trust you because it doesn't always know how sturdy it's landing is since cross country included water jumps and jumps placed on hills or ditches. It's really worth all the effort. Good luck! :)

No offence, your not that bad, but could you please stop writing in internet slang as a lot of people have english as their second language and can't understand how your writing...More people will read your posts if they are inviting and if they can understand them! :)

"No offence, but "Equestrian" didnt have a problem reading my question. It wasnt that "slang". Instead of critisizing on how people write, just answer the question if you know please. Thats the whole purpose. English is my 1st language and "slang" doesn't include anywhere in my languages. Thank you. Hope to not cause conflict!

~*by the way, "Equestrian" thank you for your input. Also, what other types of jumps are there in cross-country besides water jumps and ditches and logs?
Thanks for everyone's help!"

Sorry if there was a misunderstanding, I was just trying to get a point across, not neccessarily pointed at you but to the increasing amount of people that are writing like this in there threads:

Hiya, wat do you ppl think of my horse? he's such a pretty horse lol.

well, that wasn't a very good example but I notice more and more people are starting to get annoyed, this wasn't aimed at you as much as others who choose to write like my example! anyway, cross-country should be very fun, I have always wanted to do that! It's something about, like you said, cantering and galloping in the open and jumping different things that is very exciting! Best of luck to you! :D :)
