People at my yard (and vet) think I am mad but I am wondering if there is a link betweek my mares problems or is she just unlucky.

She suffers bad hormonal problems causing her a lot of physical discomfort, she generally suffers from skin problems, if she doesn't have her fly rug on she is literally eaten alive and in the winter (well she has started already) she gets bad mud fever. What got me thinking there may be a link is that I take starflower oil for my skin but on the package it also says it helps PMT, I have looked up starflower but it doesn't seem to be something that is available for horses. Just wondered if there was an eqivilant in the equine world?

Irregular (frequent) seasons and when she is cycling she gets aggresive, moody, cramps, very sensitive to touch anywhere behind the saddle area which all obviously influence all areas of her ridden work and make life pretty horrid for her :( Her overaries are fine, the vet has put it down to very strong hormones, she even still comes into season whilst on Regumate
