She's the same colour as my Honey, so I would go for flaxen chestnut. She's not pale enough to be a palomino, and her mane looks creamy rather than white.
Don't know about the breed though!

I'd say flaxen chesnut and either an overgrown A or a C. Looks a bit too chunky to be a B.

You could possibly register as a palomino - the coat colour is fine it would depend on whether the mane and tail contain too much chestnut - the limit is 15% and this photo doesn't really look white enough. But if you wanted to enter palomino shows you could give registration a go - they'll make the decision based on photos you send in.
" The characteristic palomino color is that of a newly minted fourteen-karat gold coin with variations from light to dark. The skin is usually gray, black, brown or motley without underlying pink skin or spots, except on the face or legs. The eyes are usually black, hazel, or brown. The mane and tail must be white with not more than fifteen percent dark, sorrel, or chestnut hairs. Conformation depends on the breed represented but most stand between 14 and 17 hands."

I would say that she is definitely chestnut, look how much orange hair there is in the mane at the wither end! I don't see why a chestnut should be registerable as a palomino regardless of how light or dark it's mane is. I have known chestnuts with near white flaxen manes but the fact is that no matter how much a chestnut looks like a palomino they will not have the genetics to breed for colour in the same way.
Btw - she looks lovely! :)

ok...take the mane out of it.I'd say that coat is definitely chestnut.I'd say chestnut with flaxen mane/tail. I believe the 'official' description of a palomino is that the coat should be the colour of a newly minted coin.I know there are variations but this would have to be a dark coin to be palomino lol.

She could fairly easily be a B. Don't be misled by a bit of chunk into thinking it therefore has to be a C. This is my 2 year old B - she's already similar in build to Bella and you can see how in 3 years or so when she's fully mature she's going to have a lot of substance.
There are an awful lot of Bs with decent bone around; they're not all little fine things at all.
Definitely not an A - she's too far over 12hh for that to be the case.
She could also be either chestnut or palomino looking at her. I'd guess chestnut looking at her mane, but you'd have to know her parents colours to be sure.

I'd go for Section Cor D and she's chestnut with flaxen mane/tail. She's also very pretty!

She could be either chestnut or palomino, there is absolutley no way to tell unless you know her family's colours or her offspring's colours.
Palomino is genetically a chestnut horse with 1 cream gene to dilute the colour, this turns the mane to white or cream and can have varying effect on the coat.
You could find out for sure and get her colour tested, Im not sure where you are but it doesnt usually cost too much. Welsh do have cream in the breed, infact it is very common in welshies. Flaxen is too but less so.
I have seen many true palominos that colour or darker. If you know the colour of her parents I could tell you what she is depending on what their colours were and if they are documented correctly (i.e genetically are what people call them, or what they look like). Does she have any foals???
