This horse here was sold to me as a TB x Connemara. He kinda looks like one, but I bought him from a dealer, and he came with no papers or history, so obviosly I have my doubts. Anyway, would you say that he is a TB x Connemara? Sorryt he pic isn't the best - i took it on my phone, i'll try and get a better one. Also, he has a very fine coat, even in winter, which is typical TB trait I think.

I see no connemara in there at all :p Head, neck, shoulder and legs all look TBish but he's clearly got alot of something else in there too  What height is he?

Your horse is not necessarily a result of a direct cross between two different breeds or types. I definately agree that there is TB in him, e.g his sire might have been a TB. The dam may not have been any specific breed or type.

He's 15'2. He's fine-ish, but he does have great big barell on him, andis a real good doer, so that's why I think he's cross with some kind of native, just not sure which kind.

I probably agree with you on this one - maybe a connie x something else.

Mine is definitely a con x tb and she's the exact same build, shape colour and everything as yours, just an inch smaller. And like you said, barely grows a winter coat. She certainly jumps like a connemarra!

Yeah he does too! To be fair, them piccies of him are from the winter, and in the winter, everyone thinks he is a full TB, but an irish one, because he is a bit chunkier - and in the summer, he grows a huge pony belly, and everyone thinks he is either an overgrown connemara or a cob lol!

They do have a similar looking face - the piccies don't really show too well what he looks like, but there are similarities - what do y0u think?
