Am riding my boy on Thursday for the first time since 25th Sept (see earlier thread). Wish me luck as I am a tad nervy :o

Oh it went fab, I am still floating on cloud nine....I couldn't sleep the night before for nerves (sat up watching National Velvet and International Velvet- sad I know) Then I had to lead him down to the next doors indoor arena - bout 20 min walk - well he was rearing and generally playing up and my arm was aching and I was thinking "Oh my God". Anyway saddle bloke turns up and John (my absolutely brilliant back guy) "put his bridle on" they said, well I was shaking so much I could hardly do up the buckles, anyway I got up on him and off we walked and he was fabulous, still the same old dear Scoobie but sort of improved, he was all flexible and bendy and guess what - no stringhalt - well after about 30mins (by the way he can turn a figure of eight within his own length) I jumped off and just hugged Scoo and John. I LOVE MY HORSE

Oh I didn't compete he has been off work with a spine misalignment since september and yesterday I got on him for the first time since then but thanks for wishing me luck(and welcome to NR)
