Delivered Magic to his new home today to be reschooled with a view to be sold. Very mixed feelings (and a few tears!) but overall think it's best for him and for me. He needs someone confident and experienced with more time for him.
Felt like I was sending a child to school! Magic was turned out immaculately, in his best rug, and all his tack had been given an extra thorough clean.
Hope this way he can find a nice new home .. I will still be seeing him, and just hope it doesn't take too long as my finances are taking a bashing with the schooling and livery costs! But do want to give him the best possible chance.
They seem very nice at this place - I had an offer to go there and ride another one of the ponies since I am no longer confident riding Magic. I'm sure they're going to be fair but firm with him, which is what he needs.
