Hi everyone! Whose idea was it to do the quik reply thingy because it is like wicked!!:D

However, what is the difference between a normal reply and quick reply.....:o

Quick reply doesn't have all the options for smilies etc so you need to know the codes for the smilies etc rather than clicking on them...quick reply generally uploads quicker too (or it does on other sites, haven't had chance to play with it on here yet). Beyond that I'm not sure :confused:

Yes it is great....
however earlier my edit button wasn't working...don't know whether it is now or not.

I couldn't figure it out at first too either. But what you need to do is press the button your talking about. That means that you can now type in the quick reply box down the bottom of the page. If you don't press this button, it won't let you type anything in the box. Bit confusing, I'm actually surprised I managed to get it :rolleyes: :o :p

Click the new icon in the bottom right of the last post, then you should be able to type in the quick reply box :)

Works fine for me... and I'm using gentoo linux and firefox/konquerer depending on the day :P

Nothing happens for me either (my screen isn't green though just kind of shaded out. And when I reply in the conventional way, I can't use the smilies either....see I wanted to put "confused??" in here....

I use Firefox - is that the problem?

I seem to be stuck in quick reply mode - is it optional? No matter how I try to reply, I can't click on the smilies and I don't know all the codes :(

You cant just type in the box- you have to press the quick reply button in the courner of someones post: I think this is what you guys mean, thats how i got myself confused! :rolleyes:

Still not working. I'm using Mozilla so that's probably why, you probably need Internet Explorer or similar. Nothing ever works on Mozilla GRRRRRR

I'm using Mozilla too and although I can't click on the quick reply links in the individual messages, when I click the normal "post reply" button on the bottom left, I seem to get put in quick reply and can't use the smilies *nooo!*
