im thinking of trying some distance rides/endurance next year on my x racer.
ive been told she pulled a tendon and thats why she finished racing, so she usually wears tendon boots in front and brushing boots on the back as she used to brush, but it seems she doesnt anymore since she had her shoes off.
what would be the best boots to use?

also, for the rider what are the most comfortable? i seem to have a problem with jodphur boots and they never seem to fit and always hurt me. i have a pair of mountain horse stretch groom and they are really nice ,but they are for winter wear.
i get along with long boots quite well, i have a pair of regent boots i show in, but they dont really have enough grip and id like to keep them for showing.
ive seen these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7199380086&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT what do you make of them?

a friend of my mums represented scotland in endurance. she actually doesn't use any boots as more often than not on the long rides they can rub and slip doing more harm than good.

if you were just doing 10 mile pleasure stuff then i'd reckon she'd be ok with well fitting tendon and brushing boots.

as for the rider, mums friend always wears the endurance legging things you can get (no seams to rub) and just joddy boots or riding trainers. if its a particularly long ride she wears the trainers, incase she has to get off and run with the horse.
