For all the Mature Nervous Nellies- take heart!

:D :D :D At new yard we have a 1/4 mile grass gallop home up the bridleway. Yesterday I gave myself a stern talking to at the end of a lovely sedate hack, pointed Archer's head at home and whispered "Look after me boy" and off we went! We had to slow down to get around some brambles then off we went again- "Hey mum," says Archer " would you like to try my new gear?" I felt his back end come under him and blimey we were motoring! Had a few braking issues but when I relaxed and breathed out instead of frantically tugging at reins we came to a last-minute stop practically in the yard!
This time last year I was riding on the lunge!!!!!!! So take heart all the confidence crisisees!

Thats great. I had a good blast on Rhi the other day before I fell off her :o It was great and felt really good. Now I have to get back onto the big lad and regain that confidence on him
