the past 2 nights i have put my girls rug on she has bucked.
she hates her rugs anyway and is quite naggy, i try to make it as nice as possible but she still doesnt like it.
why do you think she would buck? because the rug is cold? i thought it could be the surcingle round her leg, but last night they were both onto of the rug on her back.
any ideas?
thanks

any skin irritations on her back? bits of straw/shavings that have snagged in the rug material and caused a problem? rug rub on her withers or across the withers' crest? have seen a nasty case of folliculitis (infected hair follicle) across that area, horse behaved in a similar manner.
try a different make/fit of rug, or a anti-rub bib and see if that helps?

she hasnt done it since i posted this, typical:rolleyes:
she hasnt got anything on her back, shes had this rug for a while. i think she was just being moody as she was in, or the rug was cold.
thanks for your reply:)
