Hi
im back after a very long break 10+yrs, i grew up around Horses (had horses and stables in the family) and rode regulary into my late teens, im now 38 and have been meaning to ride again for a few years and whent for it last weekend, im well rusty but still feel confident, ive decided to have a load of lessons and aim for a good style, as ive manly hacked in the past i would ride more like a cowboy, im getting put right by my RI now lol...

i will be happy to get out of the small indoor school and have a ride in the open air with more space, im probley over confident really so ive got to watch my self, the last time i rode was on Holiday in Greece about ten yrs ago, i went galloping down a beech i hadnt been near a horse for about 5 yrs prior to that, funny how they dont even bother to check your ability when your abroad, they just take your word for it, they gave me the biggest madest horse they had, it was great fun, i arrived back at the stables first even before the leader who had to wait for a few slower riders
i was then told by the owner that she had been a bit worried about me as the horse could be very stroppy, think im just gona sit back and do what im told by my RI as i dont have the ability i used to have:rolleyes:
