Global Herbs - Scratch formula

Thinking ahead to the spring, helps while away the dark dismal winter!

Has anybody tried Global Herbs Scratch formula? Have a cob that rubs his back end on the fence and generally pulls hairs out of his tail through spring & summer, but stops as soon as it gets cold, probably mild sweet itch.

His tail doesn't go all red and sore with open oozy bits, but obviously irritating him.

Had a look at this supplement, but not sure whether it's any good, and don't really want to waste money!

I can't comment on the horse Scratch, but used the dog ones. They were capsules of orange powder and the only way I could get them down my terrier was to empty the powder out and mix it with honey. They made my dog smell awful and thus the whole house stunk? I don't think they really helped either.
But that's not to say they won't work on your horse. My cob will itch her bum but not make it sore, so as long as it isn't a big problem, I ignore it. I think it's more when her coat is changing.
