hay to haylage

I am moving yards on saturday and Spyder is currently on hay and the new yard only does haylage shall i buy a few more bales of hay and mix some haylage when i move or?

That sounds like a good plan to me, but you will probably only need enough for a few days, my mare made the switch 3 weeks ago, first night she had hay/haylage mixed since then she has been on straight haylage with no problems.

Ok thanks well by the end of the week we will probably still have a bale left so il take that along thanks :D

Thats what I did too - mixed it for about a week gradually reducing the amount of hay - no problems.
