What to do about riding

As you may know from previous posts my horse is foot sore due to having his shoes off. The farrier is coming out soon I hope to put his shoes back on but how should I exercises him when he's footsore?

I would leave him be 'til the farrier comes.He wont be able to focus when his feet are hurting.Kind of like you going on a hike when you have blisters on your feet.When is your farrier coming out?

Leave him be. Call it a mini Christmas vacation ;)

Wednesday is when he is getting his shoes back on. I get worried he will loose condition and go a bit mental.
