Daffy Dilly

Daffy's bed was hardly wet at all yesterday, and there wasn't a single wet bit anywhere today. Normally any liquids would collect at the front of the stable and there'd be a wet patch which wouldn't completely dry out (nice day or otherwise), but I didn't have any mucky straw to take out today, just droppings.
There one more pile of droppings than usual today, but they were completely normal in consistancy, colour and size etc. He had eaten 3/4 of his large haynet, left the smaller one, and drunk just over half of the water he was given. I brought him in at 8pm yesterday, so quite late, and judging from the 6 piles of poo he wasn't let out early today, so I don't understand why his bed was not wet at all.
He doesn't seem at all out of sorts, from what I could see he wasn't at all uncomfortable anywhere, so I can't put my finger on what is wrong. I'm going to keep an eye on him but I don't see why or how he would hold it in all night. Any suggestions?
