ive just bought a loveson combo for my girl, but its a bit too short depth ways and slips on her, i did buy her an amigo but it was too short lengthways, but was fine in depth, ive got shires rugs aswell and they are fine on her, her saxon is too short.
i think it was a masta i saw that was extra long, anyone tried these on tb types? she has very long longs and is an x racer.

I have always been a fan of Weatherbeeta rugs for my 16.2 TB. I find them to be quite a generous fit. Even though he does tend to roll a lot they do not slip.

I have found that FAL are excellent for my TB who is 15.1.
FAL is a very generous fit & don't rub at all.
Even if she has a roll about it doesn't slip at all.

FAL are really good & i would personally recommend them.
They are a hard wearing rug.
They are expensive but well worth the money :D :D

Hi Tasha

I've usually found the Masta turnout rugs to be a brilliant fit on TB (who's a 16.2hh thoroughbred), they fit well around the shoulders and are nice and deep.

However, I purchased one of the new range masta 'check' winterweight turnouts from TFM last week but had to return it because the fit was terrible. The assistant said quite a few had been returned because of the same reason.

I exchanged it for one of last years range and that one fits perfectly.

So if you are planning on buying a Masta rug I should bear this in mind. ;)

i was looking at those at tfm. ive seen the extra deep one at the new charlies store in welshpool (they have a really big horse section), i got my loveson from there but its far too short, its also seems to be rubbing her extra high withers:rolleyes: its a combo rug
i might have to run up again and see what its like, i cant really afford another rug as ive already biought 2 that dont fit (ones on the cob and maddie can have the loveson as a spare)
