Hello and welcome! I hope you realise that now you've admitted to being a riding instructor you'll get all our schooling queries and questions. Do you have any photos of your horse/horses?

great an instructor lol, and on the mature site as well, your'll regret admitting to that lol :) - hi and a definate WELCOME :)

I've got a section D and he's great and pretty much a good boy - great jumper, shame he's 10 years old though and is as green as green when it comes to flat work with the awkwardness of having 10 years of bad habits :D only had him 11 months, wish he was 5yrs :) by the time he has learnt all the new things we are doing with him he'll be going out to retirement ;)

Hi Toddsmum - yes, I love Welshies. That's my Misty in my avatar. They're full of character. She was a driving horse when I got her when she was nine and its been quite a long haul getting her rideable. She's 12 now and a little angel, but probably what you'd call a 'lively hack'!! Fantastic jumper as well.

Welcome!
I am Scarlett I own one horse, Willie. He is a 21 year old QH that I gallop and am just starting to jump....western! He is great besides the fact that he was overly desensitized, but we are working on that. He was a formerly abused (severly) ranch horse. In my avatar!

Welcome to the mad house :D

I'm in the 'mature rider' bracket as well.
Done a bit of everything but now only really compete in dressage - my prospective 'eventer' decided dressage was more fun and had a distinct talent for it.

I have 2 and a bit naglets - Peri is a 16yo 7/8 TB and has competed in dressage up to Intermediaire I level. I bought her as an unbroken 4yo for eventing - loves xc and hates SJ'ing, brilliant at dressage  She is now on maternity leave and hence accounts for the 'bit' as well. She is 7 months in foal to Mooiman, a KWPN stallion by Flemmingh, fingers crossed that her baby is as talented as Mum & Dad. If all goes to plan she will be back on the competition circuit late next year.

Tavia is the other naglet, she is a 10yo Russian Orlov cross, she's only ever competed in dressage and is currently Medium/Advanced Medium. Hoping she'll go Advanced next year.

I work full time as a pharmacist but do a little bit of freelance teaching on the dressage side. I'm also busy preparing for my BD judging exams.
