His feet

Hello, Well my boy is getting his shoes back on this week yippee. He still walks a bit funny going out to the field as he has to walk on a hard surface. The vet said that his feet were quite short and the farrier may have a problem getting the nails into his hoof. So I'm a bit concerned that he's going to be really lame after the visit. What do you think?

Why don't you put him in boots for a while and do some conditioning before putting the shoes back on if that's what you want?
