Green Urine??

Captain has green urine and strong smelling today. We have had to change his mix as they didnt have our usual. I have only introduced about 4 handfuls. May this be the cause?? Have I introduced too much so soon???

I have never heard of green urine before, i cant see it being the feed change,
i would phone the vet and ask there advice, they dont charge for a phone call

Green normally indicates an infection.

Is his "thing" swollen or tender?

When did you last clean it?

Yes he does need a clean down below. But he isnt keen on anyone touching it...:rolleyes: Some members on board dont believe you should clean though. But I will keep an eye on things. :p

Its just green suggests an infection.

i've never had a gelding myself but I try and keep my mare clean.

He may have gotten something caught in there. Have you had anymore green urine? I'd get a vet to see him if it continues or if he is swollen
