Hiya everyone, I have been looking around the site for a while and thought I would introduce myself. I have recently taken up riding again. I used to ride reguarly when I was young so I decided to get back into it. I am not fortunate enough to own my own horse but I am planning on it for the future.

I am new here on this forum.
What about leasing a horse to start with?
There are horses owners that, don't have the time to ride and take care of their horses and all you have to do is go to your local barn and ask around.
I would suggest doing a half lease- this is where you would pay only half of the horse board per month.
In your arangement or agreement, get the owner to allow you to ride and take lessons and go the trails a few days a week.
