Has anyone heard that a BHSAI can take a driving module to add to their BHSAI portfolio? IS this true?

This is going to sound stupid because I guess I already know why you are asking but do you mean driving as in horses or driving as in boxes because I am sure there is a box driving thing you can do aswell??

I am guessing you mean to drive your little uns about though :D

don't claim to be a BHS expert, but had a quick look - all I could spot was the driving options for NVQ. But thats not what you mean is it ?

Ahhh, it's NVQ module done at colleges.
Anyone know any colleges that offer it, I don't seem to be able to find out anything about it.

May not be a college, may be a yard based thing ? It'd help if I could work out which awarding bodies do it - then get a centre list from there !

dashing for a train shortly. There appears to be one unit at NVQ 2, and more at NVQ 3. I wonder whether you could simply look for a NVQ centre accredited to level 3, that does driving ? BHS site has NVQ centre list (tho BHS only of course ;) ) - one example would be Gleneagles - I KNOW they do driving, and they are a L3 centre ! Not sure which other Scottish places do driving and are up to NVQ3 as an assessment centre.

EDIT: BHS site also has the unit listing on it :)

SQA Update document of Dec 2005 lists BHS as the awarding body for the SVQs. So their list of S/NVQ centres would be the one to look at :)

ah - but the deal is that if you end up coming to Gleneagles, you have to come and give me a lesson (we're not far away).

LOL - I was thinking of riding... (You forget I've been here long enough to know you've done stuff with heather ;) )

but you could help me with my long reining with any of our non-retired beasties.

Big sis and niece do actually drive and have "small pony" sized equipment but I don't think mum's little 4 year old would be quite ready for that yet
