anyone know any good exercises for building up muscle on the top of the bum?
this is where she is lacking it

Lots of hacking up and down hills is the best way. A good powerful walk or trot is very effective. Also making asure she is really usnig her hind end will help build that muscle up. It's the same principle like the neck will have a dip in it after the withers, if he horse hasn;t been working correctly, (or is underweight or out of work)

hill work is the very best, nothing else compares to it. but if thats not a possibility (and it isn't for a lot of people) the next best thing would be calviletti work.

weve got a few hills by us, she always walks forwards nicely and steps through behind, so i thik i just have to do more of it

make her walk up them! Those shropshire hills should be sufficient!

Hills and some raised poles will help, but it can take an age, I think patience is the key :)
