what colour is Bam Bam?
he was bred out of a buckskin mare, Blobby and im not sure about her dad.
sorry, he was rugged up to his eye balls, so i couldnt get a better pic. he came to college with his rather large bay gelding friend called Squeaky! :D

well in the first picture he looks grey,

in the second two he looks palomino..its really hard to tell from the quality of the pictures.

no the pics are fine, hes a strange colour. thats how he actually is! honestly! :D thats why i started this thread - because he was so unusually coloured.


editted to add heres his folder on my photobucket account. the reason why i didnt post them all to start with is because theres horrible lighting and it makes him look quite white, which hes not.

He's a palomino. He's just a pale one, which is what makes him look a bit different.

My colt Andy is the same kind of colour... this is him at 6 months old.

At first I was wondering where you all got palomino. Realized, it was the wrong horse, only saw the buckskin.
But yeah, BamBam's a palomino for sure.

He's probably what you would call a seasonal palomino. A lot of palominos have a very fair (near white) winter coat, but darken out and become more golden in summer coat.

That's true that some do change seasonally. Like many colours, the winter coat is a lighter shade than the summer coat; but some don't ever really make it to golden! This is Andy in summer coat.... still an anaemic looking pally! (And this pic makes him look darker than he really was...)

Are you confusing Bam Bam to Blobby?
Blobby is a buckskin, i know that for sure. But Bam Bam doesnt have a dark mane (never saw his tail). His is white. :D
Andys got a lovely colour. Palominos seem to be so rare, its nice to see one. :D
