Towing floats

OK, this is a bit technical but does anyone have any info on the amount of wind resistance, drag and associated increase in fuel consumption that a flat fronted float creates compared with one with a round front.....

Is it worth having a flat fronted float remodeled...:eek: ?!

How long to recoup the fuel costs......?
