....so I have just about managed to persuade DH to let me have the delicious Swain/Humphries saddle that Kay loaned me :D

So of course I need to buy a nice new girth to go with it. I rang Kay's shop and they told me to get one without elastic and with as wide a bearing surface as possible. I don't want to pay silly money as the saddle is already *double* my budget  It also has to come in big sizes (what's new?!)

What are your recommendations?

wintec chafeless girths are nice, and also reactorpanel centre elastic girths, but they are expensive.

The Pro Choice girths are supposed to be very good. I've been told the opposite about elastic, though, I was told to get a girth that was elasticated at both ends (rather than just at one).

The stubben cord girths are the best i've ever used. i don't use any other type of girth these days. they are pricey (about £26) but worth it as they are soft and comfortable, don't pinch or rub.
