Wow!
I can't believe I found this forum! Just started taking lessons about 6 weeks ago and I have been surfing around looking for places to read about horses and learn. This looks great!
I have always had a love for horses but havn't been fortunate enough to be able to take lessons. Now I am taking lessons with my 12 year old daughter and we anxiously wait for our lesson every week!
Does anyone here have information on websites/forums to go to to learn more? I will definately check out all the websites that you here have created and am sure I will learn from them!
I have a site as well but it is about saltwater fish tanks. Feel free to check it out.

Welcome cat23! You sure lucked out, because you will learn alot from here! We're all a friendly lot, and any question you have, it will be answered by someone! This is a well-kept and organized message board with friendly and helpful moderators! Everyone helps everyone else, horse or no horse, everyone is welcome!
I love riding! I've been bitten HARD by the riding bug, and it sounds like you and your daughter have too! ;) Have fun and ask away!

hello!
Welcome to New Rider!
Hopefully you should find the answers to most of your questions on this site, either on the main site or the bulletin board. Our aim is to make this site as complete as possible, so if you can think of any improvement, please let us know.
Do let us know how your lesson progress.
bye!

Hi Teri,
This site is wonderful, isn't it? I was very happy to find it when I scheduled my first lesson and have visited it frequently ever since. It's been a continual source of information and inspiration to me. I was surprised by the number of adult beginners (like me) there were on this site.
By the way, I share your interest in little sea creatures. My husband and I kept aquariums in the past (both fresh and salt). We keep talking about setting one up again.

Welcome to the barn, cat! If an old Texas cowboy can find good stuff with this outfit, I have no doubt that you will too. Don't hesitate to ask, either english or, ahem, western, if I do say so myself, (and I do!) and have a great ride! Happy Trails!

Hey All,
This site is great! I've read all the posts my eyes would allow now for a couple days and am learning the "lingo" and now can't wait til my lesson this week. I'm sure my legs will just stear that horse (and me) in the right direction when we trot along! LOL
Hope so anyhow,
Kedwards, Glad you like my fish. Website had problems this weekend and now I have alot of work to do on it to fix things up! AAGGHHH!

I love this site too. It's great I find that at some sites people can just ignore you or get into really bad arguments.
That dosent happen here. We all have 1 common bond (horses if you couldnt guess ;) ), and are more then happy to share any info we have or have found out.
Happy reading and riding, keep us posted on your progress.

Good luck with the lesson and keep the board posted.
As for your website, I didn't notice problems when I visited, I was just very impressed with the tanks. They're true works of living art.

Sorry I don't have "horsey things" to put on my site yet. Just give me some time.
I thought I'd see more websites on all your horse experiences here!
