Seems the best of both worlds... or worst? :) hehe would love to hear from anyone that has worked or owned one. Thoughts?

Quarter Horse x Arab yeah? There used to be one at the Western Riding stables I used to ride one at the Western Riding stables near where I live in Sussex.

I have a Quarab (& was hoping to convince hubby to approve aquireing one our stable has one for sale. But no go.)
I find my mare a bit quirky one minute as cool as a cucumber, the next prancing around displaying her arab expressioness. (if that's even a word!)
Even though I've only had her for 2 yrs, I haven't been able to do much training/excercise wise because she was very sick.
What little we did do, even though she acted "hot" or hyper, her training and/or trust in me was a welcomed surprise. I even trust her with my 13yr old for ground handling.
I too find that it's a lovely breed combination.

and yep, he's rather unpredictable, prone to galloping around me, scaring me.. but never getting too close to hurt me. He's a bit of a drama queen about things even in the arena. It doesn't get anymore secluded and focused than that.
I wondered one day when I saw someone's quarter colt, if a quarter would add stability if added in the breeding.

oooh Ooh I know this one, I do, I do!
I rode one when I was in Canada, she was lovely, really nice horse, forward going, good brakes, kind, sweet, I'd have one if I didn't live where I did.

I have an Arab/Appy and love her to bits. My friend at the college barn owns a 3/4 Arab, 1/4 QH and he is amazing! He's sturdy and furry, not too big, mostly level-headed and a great trail mount. All the QH/Arabs I have ever met have been lovely (then again, so have all the Arabs I've met too!) :D
