What do you think of these Symmetries that clip onto your girth and stirrup? My feet and legs move around a lot and I tried them. I think my main problem is my stirrups are too short. I just wanted to know how would these affect the horse? Would it be uncomfortable for him?

On another note my horse leaps over jumps which everytime I end up loosing one or both stirrups. It's not something we're good at and I've only started popping him over the odd log. Someone said I need to have my stirrups longer but I thought that would maybe make me get pushed out the saddle more. Any comments (bearing in mind I didn't really expect him to jump as high as he did so maybe I wasn't prepared)

Thanks ;)

get yourself some baler twine and tie your stirrups to your girth instead of splashing out on expensive gadgets ;) our old riding instructor used to do that quite a lot when we were learning. i doubt they'd have any impact on charlies comfort :)

as for the jumping, i think you are always better having short stirrups. maybe its coz my jump instructor is an eventer but she hikes my stirrups up a good 3 holes (we jump bewteen 2ft and 3ft3 in our lessons). if something were to go wrong, the short stirrups would help ping you out of the way. i also feel alot more secure.
