I recently got a new tack cataloge, and didn't recognize a single saddle brand in it! They were all in the $250-$900 range, and I'm curious to hear how the quality is. The brands were Equi-Bette, Sorrano, Regent, and Bordeaux. Has anyone seen these saddles in person before? They seem as if the leather might be a bit stiff, but it's hard to tell from the pictures. The Bordeaux line claims to be inspired by Stubben- I'm wondering if they're really a more affordable version or just a knock-off.

Anyways... any comments on these saddles would be greatly appreciated!

I recently bought one of these. I only hack so for what I use it for it's perfect value for money. Not the quality of a Wintec but then again they are 4 times as expensive. Very pleased with my purchase.

Not heard of the others but regent is an english company that are known for making leather riding boots. Don't really know anything about their saddles, but know they would be proper english leather ones so if cared for properly they shouldn't be stiff.:)
