Hi Caz :)
He's great thanks. Its been quiet on the riding front lately, wiich I feel guilty about, but its soooooo cold all the time I can't always bring myself to do it. Roll on spring!
He's lost another shoe - every 2 or 3 weeks another one comes off... not sure that a heavy horse like him was built to gallop up and down the field with his playmate ;) Anyway, am thinking about whether to persevere or whether to try barefoot. If I'm gonna try it, now is a good time as there's not too much riding going on... am umming and arrrring about it. Thing is, when I tried it with Tally, I couldn't get a proper barefoot trimmer for love nor money  If i'm going to do it, I want a proper trimmer to make sure it all goes as well as it possibly can.
Other than that, everything is as it should be :) He's full of personality, got a real sparkle to him, he's a cheeky monkey but never in a bad way and I absolutely adore him :) Its been 5 months now... I think I'm seeing the true Pumpkin now and I like what I see :)
Thanks for asking :)

And you've got all Spring and Summer now to enjoy. Fab.:D
I know what you mean about the cold. Sennie's had a minor hock problem (at least I hope its minor) so we are working him hard at the mo to see if getting him to use his back legs better will help. Taking him out in the cold wind this morning was an interesting challenge.;) Bounce, stop dead, ears on stalks, bounce, bounce, stop dead, ears on stalks.. you get the picture!
Pumpkin sounds lovely. Its great to hear you've bonded, especially bearing in mind all you went through with Tally. Sounds like he's changed a great deal from that sweet but rather down trodden horse you bought.:) :) Any chance of some "now" pics?

I know what you mean about the weather. It has stoped me from riding this winter and thats a first. Even my friend has asked me what is wrong with me. But i had a few knocks in the later part of Summer and not got my nerve up to hack out alone often this Winter. I will get there eventually just need the Summer to beat it.. Good to hear no problems with Pumpkin. He is turning out to be a little star for you..:)
