I had to write you back on this post. I would have to say that I am sure I have done that a few times, heck even when it isn't that "I gotta have chocolate" time of the month. I am a green rider of course with a 5 year old green horse so I have had lots of those moments that I just wanted to give up and I thought nothing I did was right or I wasn't bonding with her.

Sometimes we have those days, it sucks sometimes to be women but I guess we just have to forgive ourselves :p we can't help it.

Shoot, I don't know what the question was but I am SO emotional about my riding. I have some serious highs and lows and some days could just cry from the happiness of fufilling the dream of horse ownership.

My instructor's good about offering immediate praise "like, good job doing x right", but rarely tells me we're "doing so much better than x weeks ago". I finally had to tell him I just need to be told once in awhile that we're improving in the big picture. :D :o
